Functions of the Team |

1. |
Content
Management Team at Alpha Plus is required to play a very important
role in sourcing & processing content for its products. What
differentiates Alpha Plus from others is its ability to source the
content, quickly and accurately process it with enormous value-additions,
and provide it in a timely manner in an easily retrievable format. |
|
2. |
Content
Management Team plays strategic part in Alpha Plus' structure to
ensure proper functional and competitive advantage of the company's
business activities. |

Role and Responsibilities |
|
1.
|
Content
Management Executive (CME) is not just a typist or a data entry operator,
who does only typing or inputs data into pre-defined fields of any
specific software solution.
|
|
2.
|
The role of CME
extends much beyond typing or scanning or converting content from one
format to another.
|
|
3.
|
The most
important responsibility of a CME revolves around -
|
|
|
a.
|
Maintaining
Turn-around-Timings for each activity
|
|
|
b. |
Ensuring
utmost Quality of work by achieving hundred percent accuracy of
processed content |
|
|
c.
|
Self-checking
|
|
|
d.
|
Ensuring
excellent Team Work, especially when some activities are undertaken by
different executives in a sequential order, and
|
|
|
e. |
Helping new
recruits / juniors to learn and grow and achieve perfection |
|
4.
|
Typically, a
CME is responsible for document processing, which may involve one or more
of the following activities that may be assigned from time to time based
on inter-se seniority and competency:
|
|
|
a.
|
Sourcing
content from prescribed online and / or off-line sources and be fully
responsible for ensuring that the required content and any referenced
content is completely and timely sourced
|
|
|
b. |
Scanning
content from print format for conversion into HTML / Excel / Word / any
other format(s), as may be required, based on the nature of the content,
and ensuring that the content is correctly converted into required
format |
|
|
c.
|
Converting
content from any available format into HTML / Excel / Word / any other
format(s), as may be required, based on the nature of the content, and
ensuring that the content is correctly converted into required format
|
|
|
d.
|
Formatting of
content prepared / updated by Research Team Members
|
|
|
e. |
Inputting
prescribed metadata for each content file |
|
|
f.
|
Creating
hyperlinks and / bookmarks, wherever necessary
|
|
|
g.
|
Incorporating
cross-links in referenced documents
|
|
|
h. |
Indexing /
Classification of content / files / etc. wherever prescribed |
|
|
i.
|
Periodic
updating of specified content (for example, Regulatory Roundup, Hot Spot,
Site Map, Returns Planner, Transport Operators' List, Security Printers'
List, Second Schedule to RBI List, etc.)
|
|
|
j.
|
KMT Content
Uploading on a daily basis, comprising of the following activities:
|
|
|
|
i. |
Consolidating
all the processed documents at prescribed intervals, and preparing the
"Update Files" in the prescribed manner |
|
|
|
ii. |
Testing of
"Update Files" on internal systems and uploading the same on
the web server at prescribed intervals, so that these become available
for downloading at client locations |
|
|
|
iii. |
Mailing of
update files to select clients |
|
|
|
iv. |
Sending SpotMails to select clients |
|
5.
|
CME is also
responsible for the following:
|
|
|
a.
|
Maintaining
register for noting discrepancies observed in the circulars on RBI website
|
|
|
b. |
Maintaining
daily work log |
|
|
c.
|
Maintaining
screenshots of regulatory websites notification lists as prescribed |
|
|
d.
|
Maintaining
repository of scanned images of printed content |
|
|
e.
|
Receiving and
maintaining record of print copies of circulars from RBI, IBA and NABARD,
and following up through RLO till each and every circular is received |
|
|
f.
|
Comparing
print copies of circulars with processed HTML formats and making the
corrections where necessary |
|
6.
|
Responsible
for processing in the prescribed manner, the content received from
clients for products like IC+ and AM+ or any other product |
|
7.
|
Depending
upon the needs, at any point of time, a CME may be given the
responsibilities of the SCME or Team Lead or AM-cum-RLO |
|
8.
|
While
handling content sourcing, processing and checking, must adhere to
ISP&P, SOP, TATs, QSCM, IDCP, and RCCVP |
|
9.
|
Responsible
for identifying potential issues during content sourcing / processing
and following IRM, TEM |
|
10.
|
To assist the
Team Lead or SCME, and be responsible for the following: |
|
|
a.
|
Content
Quality Testing |
|
|
b.
|
Implementing
the prescribed security procedures |
|
|
c.
|
Undertaking
routine back up functions |
|
11.
|
Any other
duties that may be assigned from time to time |
|
Qualifications |
|

Graduation
|
|
*
|
Under Graduates with two or more years experience will also be considered
|
|
Experience |
|

|
Preference will be given to candidates with one year Experience or more
|
|
Skills Required |
|

|
Good Typing Speed
|
|
*
|
Preference will be given to candidates with Typing Exam Certificates
|
|

|
Basic Knowledge of MS Office
